How to remove the steering wheel on BMW 325i?

First, set front wheels straight and lock steering. Remove the airbag unit from the steering wheel. Take off the steering wheel retaining bolt and disconnect electrical connectors. Mark the steering wheel and column shaft for alignment, then lift the wheel off the column. If tight, tap or twist it while pulling up. During reinstallation, center the clockspring by pressing the white button and rotating it counterclockwise, then clockwise three times. Align the wheel with the column, tighten the retaining bolt to the specified torque, and reinstall the airbag unit.
