Raise the rear of the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Remove the inner wheelwell liner fasteners and pull the liner back. Note the installed locations of the pipes. Squeeze together the sides of the collars and disconnect the lines from the canister. Remove the canister mounting bolts and the canister. Installation is the reverse of removal, ensuring the hoses are correctly and securely reconnected. The valve is located on a bracket on the underside of the intake manifold. On 3.0L models, loosen the clamp, disconnect the air intake hose from the throttle body, remove the throttle body mounting bolts and move the throttle body to one side. Ensure the ignition is switched off, and disconnect the electrical connector from the valve. Disconnect the quick-release connector from the valve and release the hose. Release the clip and slide the valve from the bracket. Installation is the reverse of removal. Ensure the valve and hose are securely held by the retaining clips.
