    Q: How to remove and install the Thermostat?
    A: Remove the fasteners and the engine splash shield. Drain the cooling system. Release the clamps/pry out the clips and disconnect the four coolant hoses from the thermostat housing, which is located above the coolant pump at the front right-hand corner of the cylinder block. Disconnect the electrical connector from the base of the thermostat housing. Remove the mounting bolts and the thermostat housing. Note: The thermostat and housing are only available as a complete unit. Installation is the reverse of removal, bearing in mind the following points. Replace the thermostat cover/housing O-ring seal. Tighten the thermostat cover/housing bolts to the specified torque where given. Refill the cooling system.
