  Q: How do you remove the throttle body?

  A: To remove the throttle body, start by disconnecting the negative battery cable. Then, remove the engine cover, strut tower cross brace, and sound insulator. For the 3.0L engine, also remove the cabin air filter housing and plastic covers behind the suspension strut towers. Release the clips and detach the cable guide from the cabin air filter lower housing. Remove the air filter housing and disconnect the air intake duct from the throttle body. Finally, unlock and disconnect the throttle body electrical connector and vent hose, and remove the mounting bolts. To install, examine the throttle body-to-intake manifold O-ring seal and reuse if in good condition. Securely tighten the mounting bolts and then reverse the removal steps. Check for any diagnostic trouble codes and delete any stored fault codes.
