To uninstall and reinstall wiper arms, begin by running the wiper motor then switch it off to return the arms to their original position. Place a line of masking tape over the blade edge(s) for alignment purposes. Open up the wiper-arm-spindle nut cover by prying, unscrew the spindle nut and lift away the blade from the windshield, if necessary pull out via screwdriver or puller to remove wiper arm from its spindle. Assure that both arm and spindle splines are clean and dry before aligning the wiper blade with tape on windshield and mounting arm onto its spindle. Fasten down the spindle nut and attach back nut cover. For front wiper motor and linkage, take off cabin air filter cover, plastic covers behind strut towers; cable guide housing.
