How do you replace the Cabin Air Filter on BMW Z4?

Located at the back of the engine hood, it will need the three clips to be turned anti-clockwise to about 90° and then pulling the filter cover towards the front. After that, lift and turn the filter forward roughly; that is, shifting it from the housing. Place the new filter into the housing with its proper side facing up in case it has been manufactured with a specific sidewards orientation. Lastly, fits on the filter cover and fastens it with help of the retaining clips of its slotting.
