    To support and disconnect the transmission: Support the transmission using a jack and ensure it's stable. Remove the rear crossmember. Place a block of wood between the engine oil pan and the steering gear. Rotate the electrical connector collar counterclockwise to disconnect it, then remove any remaining wiring harness clips, linkage, and fluid lines as required before lowering the transmission.
