    To remove the cooling fan on manual transmission models, you can detach the expansion rivets and disconnect the cooling ducts from the fan shroud. Disconnect the electrical connectors and hoses from the shroud. Also, remove the screw and rivet from the radiator and fan shroud, then lift the fan out. The Installation method is the reverse of removal.

    Remove the expansion rivets and cooling ducts from the fan shroud. Also, disconnect the electrical connectors and release the shroud. Remove the retaining bolts to separate the fan from the coupling, noting the fan's direction. You can reinstall the fan to the coupling. Screw the fan onto the water pump and tighten the hub nut.
