• Q: How to remove and install the Axle Shaft on 2011 BMW 335i?

  A: Before lowering or removing the rear axle carrier, it is recommended to load the luggage compartment with a minimum weight of hundred kilos, two hundred and twenty pounds. when installing the car on the rear subframe, make sure the car cannot be moved up & down or rotated and stays on the locating plates attached to the lifting platform. First, the rear wheels and the exhaust system should be detached, although it should be pointed out that the process may slightly differ depending on the kind of exhaust: single or dual outlet. Subsequently, take out the rear driveshaft, two rear coil springs, and two rear wheel speed sensors; disconnect the wiring harness from the control arm and subframe. Remove electrical connectors of the brake pad wear sensor and ride-height sensor and release both the parking brake cable.
