How to remove and reinstall the rear control arm and wheel bearing carrier on 2014 BMW 428i?

Check wheel alignment if the control arm is removed; raise the car and remove the rear wheel, support the rear wheel bearing carrier with a suitable jack, remove the indicated fastener at the wheel bearing carrier and discard it, unclip the wiring harness from control arm A, remove the control arm fasteners and remove the control arm; reinstall in reverse order using new self-locking nuts, tighten fasteners to final torque only after the vehicle has been lowered and the suspension has settled, and have the car professionally aligned when the job is complete.
