  A: Remove the battery negative (-) cable after reading the cautions for battery disconnections. Dismantle the engine cover and the bulkhead cowl cover before the ignition coils while ensuring no fuel or oil residue comes into contact with the ignition coil, affecting its electrical resistance. It is to be noted that the high-pressure fuel line must be replaced after disassembly has taken place more than 10 times. On the rear side of the engine, unfasten the wire harness bracket. Lift the bracket. One fastener is hard to get at. Use access from the other side on the bulkhead side. Using the nut spanner, unscrew the nuts from the pressure line before unclipping the pressure line of the common rail from the bracket. Provide a clean area to work in to avoid the possible entrance of contaminants which may lead to malfunction of the pressure line system. Seal-off all openings in the fuel system with protective caps. High-pressure fuel lines that are tightened more than 10 times are to be replaced. Take out the hold-down bolt(a) on the fuel supply line at the rear of the cylinder head. Loosen the nut on the high-pressure pump and then lift the supply line off the pump. Finally, the connector at the high-pressure pump needs to be unlocked and disconnected. Remove the fasteners in an even stage and lift out the high-pressure pump. Be careful, as the bucket tappet can fall out during the lifting process, and the pump may leak out oil when removed.
