To remove the trunk lid, open the luggage compartment and lift up slightly the center pins to eliminate the plastic expansion rivets. Take out the trim panel on the trunk lid by lifting off its centre pins as well as plastic expansion rivets. Disconnect license plate lights wiring connectors and trunk lid lock wire is tied with a cord string at its end.
