Installation is the reverse of removal. Amplifier replacement on Sports wagon models requires removal of the spoiler, which is a complex task requiring special tools and experience. Any attempt to remove the spoiler without the necessary equipment is very likely to result in damage. We recommend this procedure is handled by a BMW dealer or other qualified shop. The antenna is a printed grid type and is located in the rear window. An amplifier, located in front of the high-mounted brake light, boosts the signal to the radio unit.
