How do you safely remove and reinstall the engine mounts on BMW 335i?

Raise the vehicle and support it safely. Remove the engine lower cover, then lower the vehicle and support the engine at the top. For turbocharged vehicles, remove the charge air ducts. On the right side mount, remove the fasteners and take off the support arm from the engine. On the left side mount, remove the fastener for the ground cable, then remove the fastener and the bracket. Next, remove the fasteners and the support arm from the engine, followed by the fasteners and the mount. The left side is shown, but the right side is similar. When reinstalling the mount, ensure that the rubber part of the engine mount points towards the center of the vehicle. For engine mount identification, the right side has a part number ending in an even number, while the left side has a part number ending in an odd number. Installation is the reverse of removal, ensuring that all fasteners are replaced.
