How do you remove and install the parking brake shoes on BMW M3?

To take off or to fit the parking brake shoes, initial, one has to detach the return spring, which is at the spreader and at the same time rotate the retainer springs 90 degrees. First, lift and secure the car and then take out the rear wheel and wheel assembly and then the rear rotors of the brake system. The lower return spring for the parking brake shoes has to be disconnected with the help of brake spring pliers and the turn the retaining springs for the parking brake shoes 90 degrees for unlocking and removal. On the bottom pull away the parking brake shoes and unscrew them from the top, disconnecting them from the adjuster and spring. For installation start by fixing the adjuster and spring at the shoes these shoe are then fixed from the top up to the backing plate. Finally place and fit the retainer locks and the return spring, the rotor, then burnish and adjust the parking brake. For adjustment, procedures of the parking brake and cable are followed.
