Here are the steps you should follow to replace the clutch slave cylinder; Pull the cover of brake fluid reservoir situated on the left side of the engine bay. It can be done with a hose clamping tool, which clamps of the brake reservoir to the clutch master cylinder supply hose. Lift the car and secure it as required, then as needed, take off the lower engine and transmission shields. For the models with metal slave cylinder, access the underneath side of the transmission to get to the fluid line and remove it from the socket of the slave cylinder, apply a pan underneath the hose in case there is still dripping fluid. Pop out the nuts to the slave cylinder bracket and the clutch bellhousings and take out the cylinder. When using a plastic slave cylinder then you require to unscrew the two nuts and fitting on the hydraulic line and then remove the clip so that the hydraulic line can be removed and remember to put the pan underneath the hose. To reinstall, advance the cylinder piston in to press it in by hand and join hydraulic line when the cylinder is fully pressed. Taking a hose clamp tool, unscrew it at the brake fluid reservoir hydraulic line then, lay the cylinder with the piston facing down and push the piston into the cylinder five times. The rest can be removed and installed in inversing order, The wear noticed in the slave cylinder should be inspected, The tip of the pushrod should be lubricated by molybdenum disulfide grease and ensure that there is interlocking of the tip of a pushrod with the recess in the clutch release lever Any spacer on the fuel line and hydraulic line should remain: Last, refill the brake fluid reservoir and top up the clutch hydraulics with clean compound as required.
