Relieve Parking Brake Cable tension by using a screwdriver to lock the parking brake handle adjuster by pressing the spring back to engage the lock. Working at the rear brake, unhook the return springs from the brake shoes, rotate the hub flange to align the lug hole with the return spring, and remove the brake shoe retaining pins using a 6 mm allen wrench by rotating the retainer 90° to release.
