Remove the window regulator and motor as one unit, separating them on the bench if necessary. Remove the front panel and disconnect the negative (-) cable from the battery. Take off the vapor barrier from the door, using care to avoid damage, as a damaged vapor barrier should be replaced to prevent possible water leaks. Remove the window from the door, disconnect the electrical harness connector at the window motor, and remove the fasteners. Feed the rear section out of the door cavity, then feed out the front section with the drive motor. For installation, reverse the removal process while ensuring to route wiring harnesses away from the moving window mechanism and using new wire ties as needed. Make sure to correctly seal the vapor barrier to prevent water leaks and initialize the window after reconnecting the battery.
