BMW 61321374967 Ignition Switch

Disconnect the negative battery terminal and disarm the SRS if necessary. Remove the necessary components such as the steering wheel, trim panel, and steering column lower casing. Disconnect the ignition switch harness and remove the switch from the lock assembly. For E36 models, turn the ignition switch off and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Remove the lower dash panel and steering column cover. Clean away the paint covering the ignition switch set screws and loosen the screws. Slide the switch away from the steering lock cylinder and detach the electrical connector. Install the lock cylinder and tighten the set screws. Apply touch up paint over the screw heads. Reassemble the remaining components in reverse order.
