    Ensure the air cleaner element seal is fully seated into the housing groove before installing the top cover, unsnap the clips holding the upper section of the air cleaner housing to the lower housing, lift the upper section to remove the air filter element, clean the lower plenum of any collected dirt and leaves, and reinstall the air filter element following the reverse procedure.
