Replace the current power steering fluid by using a clean syringe to siphon the contents of the fluid reservoir, this fluid should not be reused. Lift up the bonnet of the vehicle and take off the intake filter housing. If reusing the belt then remove the accessory belt from the power steering pump and mark the direction of its rotation. Use new aluminum fasteners and install the pump according to the torque sequence: to tighten all the fasteners of the power steering pump to 2 Nm (18 in-lb), and the bolts on the front side of the power steering pump to the engine block according to the torque specification as well as the angle, and then loosening the fasteners on one side of the power steering pump and checking to ensure that there is enough space for it to move, and then the bolts on the side of the power steering pump Power steering system requires to be filled and bled.

Empty the power steering fluid taking as a caution, not to refill the same fluid back to the power steering system. Removal is the exact opposite of installation and involves removing the pressure fitting seal and then the hose clamp of the fluid lines.
