Raise and support the front end. Remove the Sway bar link nuts at the Sway Bar Kit. Disconnect the links from the bar on both sides. Remove the bolts holding the left control arm bracket. Remove the bolts holding the Sway bar kit and bushings to the body. Remove the Sway bar kit out from the left side. Apply a suitable lubricant between the sway bar kit and the rubber bushings to prevent squeaking noises. Install the Sway bar kit and bushings. Tighten the bushing mounts to 16 ft. lbs. (22 Nm) with the wrench flats parallel to the edges of the bar. Install the left control arm bracket and tighten the bolts to 30 ft. lbs. (42 Nm). Install the Sway bar links and tighten the nuts to 43 ft. lbs. (59 Nm). The link to control arm mounting torque is 30 ft. lbs. (42 Nm). For E36 models, raise and support the front end. Remove the Sway bar link nuts at the Sway Bar Kit. Disconnect the links from the bar on both sides. Remove the bolts holding the Sway bar kit and bushings to the body. Remove the Sway bar kit. Apply a suitable lubricant between the sway bar kit and the rubber bushings to prevent squeaking noises. Install the Sway bar kit and bushings. The bushing slit will face down. Tighten the bushing mounts to 16 ft. lbs. (22 Nm). On models with strut mounted links, install the Sway bar links and torque the nuts to 43 ft. lbs. (59 Nm) with the wrench flats parallel to the edges of the bar. On models with control arm mounted links, tighten the link-to-control arm locknut to 30 ft. lbs. (42 Nm).

Raise and safely support the vehicle.
