If needed, utilize BMW special tool 616060 or an equivalent puller to detach the arm from the pivot. For installation, reverse the removal process, ensuring that each wiper blade is positioned approximately 55 mm (2 in) from the lower edge of the windshield when parked. After the first use, recheck the torque on the wiper arm fasteners.
