The ECM controls the cooling fan with the help of varying the revolutions per minute on the basis of the temperature of coolant collected at the outlet of the radiator The sensor receives a 5-volt reference voltage. The voltage drop opens across the sensor changes as per the fluctuation in the coolant temperature. Known this sensor is located in the low hose of the right side of the radiator.
