What steps should be taken to clean the fuel injector bores in the N55 six-cylinder engine on the 2008 BMW 335i?

Only use the following procedure if injector bores are dirty. To clean the injector bore, slide the injector, without uncoupling the element but with a new PTFE sealing ring, in and out of the injector bores several times. Replace the PTFE sealing ring after cleaning. Clean the contact surfaces of the uncoupling element and cylinder head, then replace the uncoupling element.
