Remove the rear hub. Remove the hub bearing retaining snap ring from the
Trailing Arm. Tap the hub bearing out from the hub carrier using a hammer and suitable punch. Thoroughly clean the hub carrier bore, removing all traces of dirt and grease, and polish away any burrs or raised edges which might hinder reassembly. Replace the snap-ring if there is any doubt about its condition. On reassembly, apply a light film of clean engine oil to the bearing outer race to aid installation. Place the bearing in the hub carrier and tap it fully into position, ensuring that it enters the carrier squarely, using a suitable tubular spacer which bears only on the bearing outer race. Secure the bearing in position with the snap-ring, making sure it is correctly positioned in the hub carrier groove. Install the rear hub.
