How to remove and install the rear wheel bearing and drive flange on BMW 428i?

Remove drive flange from rear wheel hub. Caution, the wheel bearing is destroyed when the drive flange is removed, replace the wheel bearing. Press wheel bearing inner race off the wheel hub shaft, use a pair of needle nose pliers to remove snap ring from the wheel bearing carrier, and use BMW special tool or equivalent to remove the wheel bearing; components/tools referenced include drive flange hub, wheel carrier, holding sleeve M24, hydraulic unit, spindle M24 (length 425 mm), device, adapter M24, two bearing variants with adapters 45 mm and 42 mm or adapters 102 mm and 90 mm for the M variants; for 85 mm outside diameter wheel bearings the black seal points towards the center of the vehicle. Use BMW special tools 81 64 2 155 744, 81642 155 745, 81642 155 746 and 81642 318 661 to install the wheel bearing with drive flange hub, wheel carrier, holding sleeve M24, hydraulic unit, spindle M24 (length 425 mm), adapter M24 and the two bearing variants with adapters 45 I 75 mm, 45 I 84 mm and adapters M24 64/75 mm and M24 63/75 mm; remainder of installation is the reverse of removal, use a new collar nut at the outboard end of the drive axle, restake the nut after tightening, and adjust the parking brake when the job is complete.
