The front seat belt can be removed right in Sedan or Sport Wagon only in the following way, the front seat must be taken out, then the 8-pilar trim panel and, finally, the screws to pull the seat belt guide from the pillar. Thirdly, dispense with the screw for the upper seat belt mount as well as the inertia reel retaining bolt to freely remove the seat belt on the door pillar. In case of its necessity, unscrew the retaining bolts, which allow the removal of the height adjustment mechanism. For a Coupe, the process starts even with the front seat removing as well as 8-pilar trim and the rear side trim panel. There will be a plastic cap at the front of a lower anchorage bar of the seat belt and by unscrewing the bolt, one will pull the belt over the bar. Follow this up by unscrewing screws for the seat belt guide, one screw for the upper seat belt mount, and lastly unscrew the inertia seat belt reel retaining bolt. If so, it is necessary to turn the bolts of the height adjustment mechanism backwards, nuts for it. To gain access to the front seat belt stalk, you have to release the seat, the tensioner wiring connector and the front seat belt harness should be disconnected in order to loosen the nut for the removal of the stalk assembly from the seat location. For fixed rear seat side belts, remove the rear seat, then undo the nuts that hold the rear seat belts and take them out, then undo the trim cover present at the back of the parcel shelf and disengage it from the belts. Gently pry away both the left and right hand trim panels from the rear pillar, often disconnecting the wires connected to the interior light, the clips attached to the parcel shelf should be removed and while doing it the car can be slid forward to disconnect the wiring connectors from high level stop light. Last of all, loosen the inertia reel retaining nut and pull the seat belt(s) out. For folding rear seat side belts, one has to remove the rear parcel shelf trim by unscrewing it, then loosen the nut holding the lower end of the belt and then tuck the belt under the shelf trim through the cut-out specially provided for it. Unfasten the nut for the inertia reel and pull the assembly away from the mounting, together with the removal of the reel from the car. To access the rear seat side belt stalk you have to unclip the rear seat cushion, then unscrew a bolt with a washer to be able to extract the stalk. For the rear seat center belt and buckle, first, remove the rear seat cushion, second, give loose and take out the bolt that is used to fix the center belt buckle and finally, take away the buckle from the car. Removal process is performed in reverse, in addition all the mounting bolts for seat belts should be tightened and all the trims which have been removed should be secured. For the front seat belt stalk, make sure that the tensioner mechanism is secured in place with the seat, fastening the retaining nut on the stalk, reinstall the seat and reconnect the battery's negative terminal. For the fixed and folding rear seat side belts, the process is the reverse of the removal process, tighten all the mountings to the specified torque and then trim the panels into position. As for the rear seat belt stalk and center belt and buckle, their installation is as follows: it is made in the reverse order to their removal and after that the mounting bolts have to be tightened to the specified moment.
