Raise the car and support it safely, then remove the splash guard located under the engine. While working below the engine, take off the front reinforcement plate. If the driveshaft is to be reinstalled, mark the mounting flanges and driveshaft sections with paint to maintain the original orientation. At the front differential input flange, remove the universal joint bolts, and then do the same at the transfer case flange to take out the driveshaft. For installation, follow the reverse order of removal, ensuring to observe any previously made marks if applicable, and replace ZNS fasteners with new ones.
