How to remove and install Mirror Cover on BMW X3?

Remove the door trim panel, noting that the mirror with memory function is shown, while others are similar. Remove the push clip on the window frame and carefully peel back the window frame. Pull back the foam insulation to access the window frame. Follow the mirror electrical harnesses to the door and disconnect them, cutting wire ties around the wiring if necessary. Remove the Torx bolts while supporting the mirror, and peel back the rubber door seal to access and remove the Torx bolt. Lift the mirror to free it from the door, feeding the mirror electrical harnesses through the opening for removal. The installation process is the reverse of removal.
