Open the engine hood and work at the right front of the engine compartment to siphon out washer fluid from the reservoir. For the washer fluid level switch replacement, locate it under the washer reservoir near the headlamp, partially remove the washer reservoir to ease removal, detach the electrical connector, and carefully pry the sensor out of the reservoir while being prepared to catch any dripping fluid. For the headlight washer pump replacement, detach the electrical connector, remove the hose from the pump, and carefully pry the pump out of the reservoir, again being prepared for dripping fluid. For the rear window washer pump or windshield washer pump replacement, detach the electrical connector, remove the hose from the pump, and carefully pry the pump out of the reservoir, ensuring to catch any dripping fluid. Installation is the reverse of removal, noting to coat the grommet at the base of the pump or sensor with an anti-friction agent, check that fluid hoses are not kinked after installation, fill the reservoir, and check for leaks.
