The process explains the process of the removal of the intake air hood, the fan shroud and the mechanical fan. First, at the front side of the engine compartment, or the plenum chamber, remove the expansion rivets and disengage the duct to the air box and then remove the intake hood. After that, take out the expansion rivets at the top of the fan shroud if it is installed. With the 32 mm wrench still opened on the fan clutch nut; tighten the nut in clockwise direction provided that the pulley is held counter to it. Remove the coolant pump fan and state that the nut of the radiator cooling fan is loosened with an anticlockwise rotation. Disconnect the AUC sensor and auxiliary fan electrical connector from the shroud, and the lift the fan and the shroud out of the engine compartment. To replace the fan clutch, one has to first unscrew the fan mounting bolts and then to disengage the clutch from the fan viscously. Removal only really means the installation process in the opposite direction.
