How to remove and install Washer Reservoir on BMW X5?

Open the engine hood and, while positioned at the right rear of the engine compartment, siphon out washer fluid from the reservoir. Remove the mounting nuts for the reservoir, then lift it and pull it forward to access the fluid pumps located at the rear. Cut or loosen the hose clamps to detach the hoses and electrical connectors from the fluid pumps and fluid level switch, ensuring to catch any dripping fluid. For installation, reverse the removal process by placing the lug at the base of the reservoir into the strut tower slot, ensuring that the hoses are not kinked, and fill the reservoir while checking for leaks.
