To remove the release bearing, first take out the transmission, then pull the bearing forwards and slide it from the guide sleeve in the bell housing. It is advisable to replace the release bearing when a new clutch is installed. For installation, clean and lightly apply high-temperature grease to the contact surfaces on the clutch fork and guide sleeve, then slide the bearing into position, ensuring it engages correctly with the clutch fork before reinstalling the transmission. To remove the clutch fork, first take out the release bearing, then slide the fork sideways to disengage it from the retaining spring clip and pivot, pulling it forwards from the guide sleeve. Inspect the release bearing, pivot, and slave cylinder pushrod contact faces for wear, replacing the fork if excessive wear is evident, and check the retaining spring clip for necessary replacement. For installation, slide the clutch fork into position over the guide sleeve, push the end of the fork over the pivot, and ensure the retaining spring clip engages correctly over the end of the clutch fork before reinstalling the release bearing as previously described.

The pin is composed of plastic material while the surface treatment of the clutch fork is zinc and black, which is identical to the original.
