    How do you drain and reinstall the cooling system expansion tank on BMW 335i? Posted by Customer
    A:
    Open the cooling system by unscrewing the clips on vacuum hoses fixed on the periphery of the coolant reservoir and removing bolts. If necessary, lift the reservoir a little higher so that there is some space between the electrical connector of the coolant level switch and its socket. The last step is to loose the clamp that is located at the upper part of the coolant hoses and then remove the coolant reservoir. On installation, be certain the locating pin at the base of the reservoir correctly aligns with the rubber grommet. Check the cooling system and refill and bleed it, and also look for signs of leakage.
