    Release the air filter housing retainers, slide the filter carrier assembly upward away from the filter housing, remove the air filter element from the carrier, clean the air filter housing of any residual debris, install the new element onto the carrier assembly ensuring it is in the correct direction as marked on the element, and complete the installation in reverse order.
