Check for battery voltage and ground at the headlight electrical connector. If voltage is present, trace the ground circuit for the headlamp electrical connector, cleaning and repairing as necessary. If the voltage at the headlight electrical connector is significantly less than at the battery, troubleshoot and locate the voltage drop using the headlight wiring diagram.

To aim the headlights, the vehicle should be parked on level ground facing a flat wall about 25 feet away. Stone shields, if equipped, should be removed, and the lights switched on. The horizontal distance between the light beams on the wall should be the same as between the lights themselves, and the vertical height of the light beams above the ground should be adjusted accordingly.
