    To remove the exterior mirror assembly, start by removing the door inner trim panel. Carefully pull the plastic trim away from the front inner edge of the door frame. Disconnect the mirror electrical connector and remove the retaining Torx bolts to take out the mirror from the door. Remove the rubber seal between the door and mirror.

    For the interior mirror, there are two different types of mirror arms and mountings. For the plastic cover type arm, carefully pry out the plastic cover and disconnect the mirror electrical connector. Strike the lower part of the mirror forwards to unclip the arm from the mounting. For the split cover mirror arm, pry apart the two sides of the mirror base cover and disconnect the various electrical connectors. Rotate the mirror arm counterclockwise and remove it.
