To dismantle the rear center console in both Coupe and Convertible models, first you will detach the shift knob. To remove the shift boot of cars with manual transmission, the boot material should be lift up in such a way that the tabs do not break. As for automatic transmissions, take the shift boot and apply slight pressure to the left side of the frame so that the trim clip will pop out, finally, pull out the shift boot. A plastic prying tool can be used to pry out the trim piece; pull off the connectors of electrical connections and then remove it in the direction of the arrow. On all models, remove the trim piece in the areas of the trim clips, pull the covers and fasteners away. When removing trims do so gently as you unhook the trim clips, remove other fasteners and disconnect the electrical connectors. Draw the parking brake handle boot over the handle and, if fitted, remove the phone system electrical connector. Lift the center console at the rear as the parking brake lever boot is inserted though the hole, disconnected electrical connectors and finally take off the center console. The process of installation is done in the opposite order to the removal of parts, especially electrical connectors, the air ducts, and in case of any the damaged panel clips are replaced.
