How to remove and install the trunk lid lift support strut in the rear of a Convertible on BMW 335i?

Open the trunk lid and support it in the open position. Remove the spring clips from the ends of the Trunk Lid Lift Support, then take the support off the trunk lid. For installation, follow the reverse process of removal and replace any spring clips that were damaged during the process.
