How do you remove and install the trunk lid support struts in Sedan and Coupe on BMW 335i?

Lift the hinge release lever and swing the trunk lid up, and support the trunk lid in an open position. Now the next step is to unbolt the spring clip from the end of the left Trunk Lid Lift Support and after doing so, the support will have to be pulled out from the trunk lid. As on the left side, repeat the process on the right side also. To install, just repeat the same procedure in reverse manner and if any of the spring clips are damaged then replace them immediately.
