To replace spark plugs, first, the ignition coil covers have to be removed, then, pressing on the lock the ignition coil electrical connector has to be lifted up. Next, unscrew the fasteners and be sure you remember the position of the ignition coil ground wire. Pull the ignition coils straight up and remove them from the spark plug connections and pull the spark plug out. For installation reverse the process used above and while tightening the spark plug threads lightly lubricate them with copper-based anti-seize compound. Insert the plugs into the cylinder head by turning them manually so as not to develop a chipped thread; replace the ignition coils to their well before torquing the fasteners and restoring the coil grounds to their position.
