Some of the common difficulties seen with wipers are streaking / sheeting, water drops left after wiping, chattering of blades. This can be due to wiper blades which have been predetermined by a road film or car wash wax; this in most cases has to be cleaned by washing the blades in soapy water; if the snag persists then the best solution is to replace the wiper blades. Different experts recommend the wiper blades being replaced at least twice a year, namely before and after the cold season.
