    What components need to be removed in order to access the rear coil springs for the 2006 BMW 330i, including the Sway Bar Kit? Posted by Janelle R.

    Both rear coil springs need to be removed. The control arm from the left-hand side and both traction struts need to be removed. The nuts and stabilizer bar links need to be detached from the stabilizer bar. The rear subframe needs to be lowered slightly to remove the stabilizer bar. The rear exhaust section mounts and heat shield need to be removed. The wiring for the rear ABS sensors and brake pad wear sensors need to be disconnected at the junction on the rear subframe. The bolts from the braces securing the front of the subframe to the vehicle body need to be removed. The rear brake flexible hoses need to be disconnected from the rigid pipes.
