How to remove and reinstall the air filter box in the N51, N52, N52KP six-cylinder engine on BMW 335i?

Working at the front of the engine compartment above the radiator, remove the air intake hood screws, detach the air intake duct connection, and lift it out of the radiator support. For air filter replacement, detach the air intake duct from the air filter box, loosen the hose clamp at the mass air flow sensor, remove the air filter box mounting bolts, and lift the box out of the engine compartment. Additionally, remove the cabin microfilter housing, loosen the duct clamp, and remove the duct from the throttle body. Installation is the reverse of removal, and after reinstalling, check for fault codes and reset the ECM memory.
