What is the configuration and function of the electric fuel pump and related components in the fuel system on BMW 335i?

On the fuel tank we have unlike the previous model the electric fuel pump right side fuel level sender and sulfuric jet pump and on the left side in the middle of the suspension bars sits the sulfuric jet pump to supply the right side fuel pump. The fuel filter and pressure regulator pump feed pressurized fuel to the fuel injection system, which employs non-return mechanism; it has a single fuel line to the fuel injectors and any excess fuel returns directly into the tank from the fuel filter and pressure regulator. Also, the DME includes fuel pump self-diagnostics, and any failure in the fuel pump circuit will generate a fault code.

In order to lock this gasket into place after lowering delivery pipe assembly into gasoline container, perform rotation around clockwise direction which will secure this element within correct position" Replace gasket and insert level sensor unit in assembly using appropriate screws". Reconnect hoses and connector for power supply of diesel engine," Put back insulation sheet then wrap sheath around socket," Then push back facing panel and screw socket using nuts. Finally lift up negative battery terminal wire check for normal operation/no loss of petrol and make repairs as needed.

How to remove and install the fuel pump (EKP) module in N52 six cylinder engine on BMW X3?

That is how you will remove and install the fuel pump (EKP) for the N52 engine; begin on the right side of the back seat. It is removed by pulling the seat belt trim cover to the side with the seat belt, while pulling the side (c-pillar) bolster forward & upward. After that set your focus on the fuel pump (EKP) module which can be initialized by disconnecting the electrical connectors and also the fasteners to finally removing the EKP module. When reinstalling, the steps have to be taken in reverse, and if the fuel pump (EKP) module was removed it has to be coded or programmed again. Last, check for and delete fault codes stored in the ECM.
