Raise the vehicle support safely and remove the engine splash shield and reinforcement plate if equipped. Next, take off the Sway Bar Kit connecting link mounting nut, using a thin wrench to counterhold the shaft of the Sway Bar Kit link ball joint while removing the nut. If replacing Sway Bar Kit links, detach the upper Sway Bar Kit link ball joint from the strut. Proceed to remove the Sway Bar Kit anchor bushing nuts on both the right and left sides. For installation, reverse the removal process, ensuring to replace fasteners with new ones, check rubber mounts for damage and replace as needed, and tighten the Sway Bar Kit mount fasteners with the car on the ground and loaded. Finally, bounce the suspension a few times before final tightening.
