The starter is pulled out from 'below' and getting a hold on the bolts that holds the starter is quite a task so one must ensure that they have the right tools with then when they embark on this process. Lift the car and provide it with a proper support and if there is a heat shield on the starter remove it. Aside from this, remove the positive terminal of the starter, paying attention to positions of the cables because their position may differ from one another for these should not chaff during replacement. From the output end of the transmission, with a long extension and a universal joint, to remove the bolts which fix the starter to the transmission bell-housing and the engine-block. Take out the starter out of the transmission bell housing in addition to eradicating all the wiring.
